Scottsdale City Councilman Bob Littlefield Endorses Jim Ward for Congress in 2010

Scottsdale, AZ (February 16, 2010) -- Jim Ward, Republican candidate for Arizona’s 5th Congressional District, today announced that Scottsdale City Councilman Bob Littlefield endorses his candidacy for Congress.    

“Jim Ward will bring the kind of fresh leadership and real-world experience we need to represent Arizona and reverse Washington’s reckless spending binge and over-expansion of government," Littlefield said in announcing his endorsement.  “It is absolutely essential that voters return CD5 to a solid Republican like Jim who can get the job done.”     

Littlefield joins a list of high-profile political figures who have lent their support to Ward which includes U.S. Congressman John Shadegg (AZ-3), former Arizona Governor Fife Symington and Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane.     

“There is not a more dedicated or well-respected elected official in Scottsdale than Bob Littlefield and I am honored to have his support,” said Jim Ward.  “I am committed to representing his constituents and the rest of CD5 in Washington with the same integrity Bob has shown throughout his political career.”
