Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane Endorses Jim Ward for Congress in 2010

Scottsdale, AZ (February 11, 2010) -- Jim Ward, Republican candidate for Arizona’s 5th Congressional District, today announced that Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane endorses his candidacy for Congress.      

“Scottsdale residents need someone in Congress who is not afraid to make tough decisions and can hold the line on government spending.  Jim Ward is that person,” said Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane.  “His commitment to free markets and successful record of running businesses, creating jobs and balancing budgets is exactly what we need from a Congressman to make the right kind of change for Scottsdale and Arizona and to move in a new direction.”     

Mayor Lane’s endorsement follows those of  U.S. Congressman John Shadegg (AZ-3) and Former Arizona Governor Fife Symington.
