SCOTTSDALE, AZ (August 6, 2010) - The Arizona Medical Association PAC announced today it is endorsing Republican candidate Jim Ward to represent Arizona’s 5th Congressional District.
Comprised of more than 4,500 physicians, the Arizona Medical Association PAC supports doctors and patients with legislative advocacy and education through a broad range of programs and services.
“I am honored to have the support of the Arizona Medical Association PAC , especially in an election year that has pushed health care issues to the forefront of the national debate,” remarked Ward. “This important vote of confidence adds even more momentum to our campaign and will help bring the right kind of change to Washington D.C.”
In addition to the Arizona Medical Association PAC, Jim Ward has received endorsements from Arizona Congressman John Shadegg, former Governor Fife Symington, Arizona State Senator Tom Smith, Scottsdale Mayor Jim Lane, Tempe City Councilmember Onnie Shekerjian, Scottsdale City Councilman Bob Littlefield, Mesa City Councilmember Dina Higgins and Tea Party Leader Arch McGill among others.
